As a group our members are a good mix of Mothers, Wives, Career Women, Sisters, Cousins, Friends, Neighbours and Colleagues... as Linda says: "We like a relaxed approach".

Susanne - Accountant:

I've been a member of Buxton Ladies Circle since 2005. It's been a great experience - I've met with new friends and have taken part in activities I wouldn't have normally tried. I've especially enjoyed our annual weekend away - a real laugh!

Helen - Media:

I've recently joined and love it! I work out of town, so this is a great way for me to make friends in Buxton. We have a really varied social calendar - in the last few months we've had a fencing class, been to Buxton spa, tackled the local pub quiz... You can pick and choose which events you go to. And it's a great feeling to join together and try and raise money in fun ways for local charities. I'm glad I've discovered Buxton Ladies Circle!

Elaine - Cancer Research:

I moved to Buxton in 2006 and wanted to meet other people and get to know the area. When I joined Ladies Circle I immediately made a new group of friends from all walks of life who just wanted to have fun and do different activities. You can do as much or as little as you like and pick and choose from the social calendar, which suited me due to my work commitments. I really enjoyed our weekend away last year in Newcastle, and some of the social nights out at various venues have been memorable and always include lots of laughs and the occasional alcoholic beverage!
